Day by Day Itinerary

Day 01

Arrival & Festival Preparation

Arrive in Paro. Warm welcome by your guide. Visit the town and the local archery grounds to see the national sport in action before the festival starts.

Day 02

Festival Day: Ritual Dances

Spend the full day at Paro Dzong. Witness the spectacular ritual dances performed by monks, believed to drive away evil spirits and bring prosperity.

Day 03

Cultural Immersion

Continue to enjoy the festival. Interact with locals in their traditional Gho and Kira. Visit the National Museum of Bhutan for more context on the festival's history.

Day 04

Thongdrel Unveiling

Early morning witness to the unveiling of the giant silk Thangka before sunrise. It is said that just seeing the Thangka washes away one's sins.

Day 05

Departure

Final morning in Paro. Last minute shopping for souvenirs before being transferred to the airport for your departure.
